August Updates for Shingan's Portal
The following are updates on Shingan’s Portal for August, 2025.
Besides two assemblies from Xuanzang’s Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra, this month saw the restoration of seven of the nine Learning the Navagrantha pages. These are now integrated into Shingan’s Portal and can be browsed through the navigation menu. The only reading guide left, which needs to be created from scratch, is the one for the Tathāgataguhya Sūtra (Secrets of the Tathāgata). After that, I will probably create a page for my Nirvāṇa Sūtra reading guide.
31.8.2025 – The Lalitavistara and Suvarṇaprabhāsa pages in Learning the Navagrantha have been restored.
24.8.2025 – The Daśabhūmika, Laṅkāvatāra, and Saddharmapuṇḍarīkā pages in Learning the Navagrantha have been restored.
23.8.2025 – The Gaṇḍavyūha page in Learning the Navagrantha has been restored.
22.8.2025 — The Prajñāpāramitā page in Learning the Navagrantha has been restored from Google Sites Classic (some formatting issues remain).
5.8.2025 — Translation of T220 The Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtras' Seventh Assembly, the Mañjuśrī Section, completed.
1.8.2025 — Translation of T220 The Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtras' Eighth Assembly, the Nāgaśrī-paripṛcchā, completed.
